Bo Stoianoff
President, United Record Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Stoianoff began his career as a Respiratory Therapist,
working in hospitals in Syracuse New York. After a few years
in the critical care environment he became a provider for respiratory
service to home care patients. This led to a position
as Director of Patient Care, Manager of the local branch and
eventually the Marketing Director for a large hospital-based
homecare company.
Mr. Stoianoff started his medical Record Release of Information
(ROI) career in 1993 with a well-known national provider
of ROI services, receiving numerous awards for customer service,
client retention and financial responsibilities.
In 1997 Mr. Stoianoff returned to Syracuse to open The Wound
Care Center at a local community hospital providing relief for
patients with non-healing wounds. The Wound Care Centers
reputation grew as a renowned center of excellence in central
New York. In 1999 Mr. Stoianoff rejoined the ROI business
with a prominent company.
In May of 2002 Mr. Stoianoff started United Record Management,
LLC to provide hospitals and physician practices with
customer-oriented ROI Services. Over the course of the next
three years his team of dedicated professionals expanded the
company while providing excellent promised service. In October,
2005 United Record Management was purchased by a
National ROI/technology company
In December of 2006 Mr. Stoianoff launched United Record
Solutions. He and his loyal management team refined an unequaled
formula of excellence in providing ROI services with
an emphasis on customer service, flexibility, courtesy and
working relationships, ensuring the highest level of integrity
and providing a comprehensive tracking system with a professionally-
trained staff.
Mr. Stoianoff graduated from Upstate Medical Center with a
B.S. in Respiratory Care. He is married with three boys and
lives in Syracuse, New York.
Christine Tommasini
Vice President, United Record Solutions
As Vice President, Mrs. Tommasini brings eleven years of
experience in the Release of Information industry to United
Record Solutions. She has a long history of outstanding employee
performance and retention. Her documented proficiency
in the use of hospital systems and multiple ROI software
applications has been invaluable to our customers. Her excellent
written and verbal communication skills have served her
well in forging and maintaining strong client relationships
and in preparing, conveying and managing policies subject to
HIPAA and statute compliance.
In 1996 Mrs. Tommasini was employed at the Cohoes Development
Center where she created a pilot treatment for the
emotional component of TMJ syndrome and implemented the
first capital district pilot for Autism Spectrum treatment development.
She also participated in numerous research projects
and presented seminars.
She became an Area Manager for Smart Corporation in 1996 through
1997, covering Upstate New York, Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
She was responsible for profit and loss, hiring and training
of all area personnel and implementing corporate policies and procedures
for her area. These responsibilities required accommodating
sales activity to include start-ups and maintaining communication
between the corporate and district offices and the facilities regarding
account issues.
Mrs. Tommasini’s experiences with Smart Corporation led to her position
as Operations Manager in Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts
and Northern Pennsylvania for QuadraMed /Chart One from
1997 to 2002. She oversaw profits and loss, hired and trained all area
personnel and implemented corporate policies and procedures for the
area. Through systematic communication with corporate office and
regional office, sales activity that included site start-ups and encouraging
site contacts regarding account issues, her tenure at QuadraMed
/Chart One was successful and fulfilling.
In 2002, Mrs. Tommasini became Vice President of Operations for
United Record Management. She reported to the company president,
created and implemented quality-assurance policies and oversaw
training relevant to software application and release of information.
Three years later, in 2005, she joined Universata, Inc. as an Operations
Training Director/Privacy Officer/ Operations Manager. She
developed training material for field personnel, facilitated QA checks
and implemented policies relevant to compliance.
In 2007 Christine Tommasini realized the opportunity United Records
Solutions offered and joined the organization as Vice President.
Mrs. Tommasini was awarded a Bachelor of Science at the State University
of New York in 1971, a M.S.W. at the College of St. Rose in
1975 and a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the State University of
New York in 1978.
Allan Cardona
United Record Solutions’ Regional Manager
Mr. Allan Cardona has 23 years of management experience and 24
years of HIM experience including 13 years working in 100 different
hospitals throughout the country with ROI companies.
As United Record Solutions’ Regional Manager, Mr. Cardona is responsible
for the provision of information technology services and
business solutions to a broad range of clients. He establishes and
maintains effective workflow processes, administers records management
services, and manages the health information management
activities in accordance with licensing, accreditation, regulatory agencies,
hospital and corporate policy, and best practices. Mr. Cardona
assumes responsibility for all support staff, promotes operational efficiency
and staff productivity throughout the department, ensures
coding compliance and adherence to established coding convention
and regulation, participates in open medical record review, departmental
and hospital performance improvement initiatives, safeguards
medical records and preserves the confidentiality of personal health
information through the observance of hospital policies pertinent to
the release of medical record information, hospital record retention,
and HIPAA privacy and security.
Mr. Cardona has extensive knowledge of medical terminology and a
working knowledge of a multitude of hospital EMR’s and imaging
solutions.
